BMO Capital Markets makes leadership changes

BMO Financial Group has announced leadership changes at BMO Capital Markets.

Darryl White, head of global investment and corporate banking, will be the group head of BMO Capital Markets. And Patrick Cronin, head of trading products, will be chief operating officer.

These appointments are effective Nov. 1, 2014, and coincide with the upcoming retirements of Tom Milroy as group head and CEO, and Eric Tripp as president. Both will stay on with the bank through a period of transition.

“The appointments of Darryl and Pat reflect their personal track records of achievement in serving customers, fostering partnerships within BMO Financial Group and meeting financial objectives,” says BMO Financial Group CEO Bill Downe.

White joined BMO Capital Markets in 1994 and Cronin has worked for the firm since 1993.
