Pat Chiefalo is joining the BlackRock Canada team as managing director, head of product of iShares Canada.
The former director of exchange-traded fund research and strategy for National Bank Financial will take on his new role effective Sept. 2.
“BlackRock’s commitment to the iShares business in Canada is not only firmly entrenched but growing, and I can think of no person better able to influence that growth than Pat,” says Noel Archard, managing director and head of BlackRock Canada. “We are absolutely thrilled to have him on the team.”
Before joining National Bank Financial in 2009, Chiefalo served as vice-president, derivatives sales, at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
