Renée Couture has joined Buck Consultants as national practice leader, retirement consulting.
Most recently, she was vice-president at the National Hockey League Pension Society, where she oversaw the administration, communication and governance for all the league’s pension plans.
Prior to this, Couture worked at Canada Post as director of benefits and pension policies, and pension director of regulation, compliance and member information. Her work at Canada Post included the implementation of a drug formulary, union negotiation and relationship management, implementation of a new DC plan and mental health initiatives.
She has worked as a consultant with Towers Watson and Aon Hewitt and was also employed by Pratt & Whitney Canada as director of total compensation.
Couture is a fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries with 20 years of experience in pension and benefits, compensation and change management.
