The Canadian Payroll Association (CPA) is offering pension and benefits seminars for accounting, payroll, finance and HR professionals.
“Pension and benefits plans have their own legislation and reporting requirements and significant risks and penalties for non-compliance,” says Janet Spence, the CPA’s manager, compliance services and programs. “With frequent changes to legislation and regulations, employers must safeguard against unnecessary and costly compliance errors.”
The topics covered are pensions and benefits from a payroll perspective, advanced pension case studies from a payroll perspective and best practices of employee group benefits.
The seminars are held across Canada and open to association members and non-members at all levels.
More information about the courses is available on the CPA website.
