Eckler Ltd. has appointed Euan Reid as a senior consultant in its Vancouver office.
In the new role, Reid will work with a broad array of plan sponsors, including multi-employer and trusteed pension plans, large corporations, public sector and not-for-profit organizations, according to a news release. His role will also focus on the management of financial risks in pension plans through the development, assessment and implementation of strategies such as liability settlements and funding strategies.
Prior to joining Eckler, Reid worked at Lane Clark & Peacock in London, England, since 2004. During his time at the British firm, he advised mainly defined benefit plans, and held a variety of roles, including analyst, associate consultant, consultant and partner.
