Standard Life’s former CEO, Joseph Iannicelli, has moved to OMERS, reports the Globe and Mail. Iannicelli is said to be joining the pension fund as senior advisor of enterprise marketing strategies and will report to OMERS CEO Michael Nobrega.
Iannicelli announced last February that he planned to leave Standard Life after 19 years with the firm. Charles Guay, former senior vice-president of the National Bank of Canada and president and CEO of National Bank Securities, took over Iannicelli’s position at Standard Life on Feb. 1, 2012.
