Great-West Lifeco’s Putnam Investments has appointed Jeffrey L. Gould as head of Putnam Global Institutional Management.
He’ll be responsible for overseeing the firm’s institutional asset management business, which serves investors and clients in North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
Gould joins Lazard Asset Management, where he has served as managing director, head of U.S. institutional marketing. Prior to joining Lazard, he was with Citigroup Alternative Investments. Earlier, he served as president of Renaissance Institutional Management.
From 1988 to 2005, Gould held a series of senior positions with increasing responsibility within the institutional business at Putnam Investments.
Earlier in his career, he held institutional sales positions at Citicorp Investment Management and Value Line Asset Management.
