Invesco’s flagship Trimark Fund is getting a new skipper. Michael Hatcher has been named lead manager of the existing team that oversees the fund.
Hatcher will continue to serve as part of Trimark’s investment leadership team as the head of global equities and director of research. He replaces Dana Love, who is leaving the company.
“We thank Dana for his contributions to our business, and wish him well in his future endeavors,” said Peter Intraligi, president of Invesco Canada.
The team that manages the fund has been in place for the last two years and consists of co-managers Darren McKiernan and Jeff Feng, along with portfolio analyst Kevin Kaminski.
“The managers have delivered outstanding results applying the Trimark investment approach to their funds,” said Intraligi. “They are extremely qualified and we’re confident they will continue to successfully apply that approach to Trimark Fund going forward.”
The managers have worked together for nearly seven years, at Invesco Canada and at their previous employer, Burgundy Asset Management.
