BFL Canada Consulting Services Inc. has appointed Jean-Daniel Côté as vice-president of retirement.
Based in Montreal, Côté will play a senior consulting role for a range of employer clients and contribute to the growth of BFL Canada’s retirement consulting team, according to a news release.
With nearly 30 years of experience in retirement and investment consulting, defined contribution product and services deployment and employee communication, Côté joins BFL Canada after serving as a partner in Mercer’s defined contributing consulting team for more than four years. Previous roles in the industry include serving as vice-president of Montreal-based actuarial consulting firm ACT; a partner at Morneau Sobeco (now Morneau Shepell Ltd.); and president of Performa Financial Group Ltd., a mutual funds dealership that was formerly part of the Standard Life Assurance Co.
