Julie Holden is principal of a new workplace health consultancy, Holden & Associates.
Since July 2014, she worked at SEB Benefits & HR Consulting Inc., most recently as a senior vice-president. Holden’s career has spanned a number of consulting firms in roles that include: absence and disability management leader, health and productivity leader and assistant vice-president of group disability operations.

“I saw a need in the market for a firm that focuses almost exclusively on consulting to organizations on employee absence and disability management and workplace mental health,” wrote Holden in an email to Benefits Canada.
“These two issues continue to rise for employers, are inextricably linked and I believe are best approached together.”
The new organization will work with employers across Canada, offering in-person consulting services, as well as an online workplace mental-health product.
