Organizations with less than 1,000 employees now have a new option when it comes to online benefits enrollment services.

For companies facing additional benefits enrollment challenges as a result of U.S. healthcare reform, Mercer’s EnrollNetSM offers a portal for employees to elect benefits, communicate benefit elections to insurers and gather the necessary information for completing payroll deduction changes.

“Designed to help employers provide a paperless benefits enrollment to employees at a lower cost and in a shorter timeframe than traditional online enrollment, this resource offers a better employee experience while increasing our effectiveness as an outsourced HR solution for small businesses,” says Dave Rahill, senior partner and U.S. business leader for Mercer’s health and benefits business.

According to Mercer, the service aims to provide small companies with costs savings and efficiencies associated with employee self-service enrollment and communication, as well as online benefits administration.
