The Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan has made a number of promotions on its legal teams.
Both In Ha Jang and Tara Rosenblatt are now managing directors and associate general counsel of investments. They will be responsible for managing the pension fund’s legal team in Toronto, providing legal advice and representation on all investment-related matters, including investment and management of plan assets.

Jang joined Ontario Teachers’ in 2006 as a senior legal counsel for investments. Prior to joining the pension fund, he was a senior associate at Osler Hoskin & Harcourt LLP.
In 2008, Rosenblatt joined Ontario Teachers’ as a legal counsel for investments. Prior to that move, she spent six years as an associate at McCarthy Tétrault LLP.
Ontario Teachers’ has also appointed Sharon Chilcott as managing director and associate general counsel in employment law and litigation. She joined the pension fund in 2014 and has since assumed oversight of all global litigation and enterprise contracts.
She was previously a partner at Filion Wakely Thorup Angeletti LLP in Toronto and an associate lawyer in the employment, pensions and incentives department at global firm Allen & Overy in Britain.
