The OPSEU Pension Trust is partnering with James Evans & Associates Ltd. to launch an online services portal for its members.
The OPTrust selected the Canadian pension software company’s member portal for the experience it will offer plan members and employers, noted a press release. The OPTrust is a minority shareholder in JEA.

“As a pension delivery organization, we exist to serve our members,” said Doug Michael, the OPTrust’s interim president and chief executive officer. “JEA is helping us develop and implement leading technology solutions, an important part of our commitment to deliver an efficient and user-friendly experience.”
James Evans, CEO of JEA, said the portal is based on a foundation of multiple technologies. “Our investment into generic product configurability has allowed us to deploy a highly exclusive, client-specific instance of PENWEB, which in turn enables OPTrust to deliver a bespoke . . . user experience for its members.”
