Maureen Premdas has returned to Mercer’s health and benefits business in Toronto as a partner and senior consultant.
Most recently, she served as director of benefits and wellness at Scotiabank.

Premdas joined Mercer in 1998 and has expertise in the design, financial analysis, marketing, governance and administration of group benefits plans. She also worked in the insurance industry for nearly 10 years, including two years as the group pricing actuary at Canada Life.
“Maureen was a key member of Mercer’s health and benefits team for more than 15 years, and we are excited for her to take on the role of partner,” says John Anderson, health and benefits leader with Mercer Canada.
