RBC introduces new funds

RBC Global Asset Management Inc. announced today the launch of BlueBay Emerging Markets Corporate Bond Fund, RBC U.S. Mid-Cap Value Equity Fund and RBC U.S. Small-Cap Core Equity Fund for individual and institutional investors in Canada.

The emerging markets fund is sub-advised by BlueBay Asset Management and the U.S. equity funds are sub-advised by RBC Global Asset Management (U.S.).

“As part of our ongoing commitment to meeting the evolving needs of our clients, we are pleased to offer the additional choice of accessing the award-winning capabilities of BlueBay Asset Management and RBC Global Asset Management (U.S.) through these three new funds,” said Doug Coulter, president of RBC Global Asset Management Inc.

BlueBay Emerging Markets Corporate Bond Fund
The fund, sub-advised by the U.K.-based BlueBay Asset Management, invests primarily in debt securities of corporations based in emerging market countries. It is targeted at investors seeking a combination of income and capital growth potential while looking to diversify the fixed income portion of their portfolios through exposure to emerging market debt securities.

RBC U.S. Mid-Cap Value Equity Fund
It invests primarily in equity securities of U.S. mid-cap companies that are deemed to be undervalued in order to provide broad exposure to economic growth opportunities in the equity markets. The fund aims to attract investors seeking exposure to growth opportunities in the U.S. market, or who are looking for a value component for the equity portion of their portfolios.

RBC U.S. Small-Cap Core Equity Fund
With primary investment in equity securities of U.S. small-cap companies, the fund provides broad exposure to economic growth opportunities in the equity markets for investors seeking to capitalize on growth opportunities in the U.S. market, or who want to diversify their portfolios by market capitalization.
