The Responsible Investment Association is creating a hub for investors looking for advice on responsible investing and related investment options and services.
The RI Marketplace, which functions as an online directory of what’s available to Canada’s institutional and retail investors, highlights more than 150 responsible investment vehicles, including mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, pooled products, separately managed accounts, guaranteed investment certificates and segregated funds.

The directory outlines the landscape for advice, research and consulting on responsible investing, including laying out which service providers, financial institutions and asset managers have expertise in the area. It also includes information on research companies, consultants, engagement services, lawyers and insurance specialists that provide these services.
“It is now easier than ever to be a responsible investor, regardless of account size,” said Dustyn Lanz, the RIA’s chief executive officer, in a press release. “We’re thrilled to make responsible investing more accessible to Canadian investors and market participants, and we will continue to develop the RI Marketplace further as the market grows and evolves.”
