Institutional investor data and analytics firm eVestment has hired Guri Saggu to serve as vice-president.
In this Toronto-based position, he will be responsible leading sales of eVestment’s solutions and services to institutional investors, consultants, pension funds, family offices and foundations across the country.
“Having experienced leaders on the ground in key markets like Canada is crucial to eVestment’s continued growth,” says eVestment co-founder and CEO Jim Minnick. “Guri’s sales, client service and leadership experience will be a huge asset as we continue to work with existing clients in Canada and bring on new clients in the country to serve the growing interest in Canada in our industry.”
Prior to joining eVestment, Saggu served as vice-president of index sales and relationship management with MSCI.
He has also held sales, relationship management and product leadership roles with Morningstar, RBC Dexia and Morgan Stanley Investment Management.
