Sanofi CEO ousted

Sanofi has ousted Christopher A. Viehbacher as its CEO.

The board of directors held a meeting on Wednesday and “decided unanimously” to remove him from his position.

The Wall Street Journal reports that Viehbacher “displayed an uncommunicative management style that led to his abrupt ouster.”

Chairman Serge Weinberg will fill in as CEO on a temporary basis until a replacement is found.
