SEI Investments Canada Co. has appointed Rachel Volynsky as Canadian equity portfolio manager in Toronto.
In the role, she will be responsible for the management of all Canadian equity strategies. With more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, Volynsky most recently served as a fund manager and head of fundamental research at Calvert Investment Management, overseeing the global value and global equity income mutual funds.
Previous roles include portfolio manager for the institutional group at Invesco Trimark and TD Asset Management, as well as senior investment analyst at the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan.
“Increasing the strength of our portfolio management in Canada bolsters SEI’s global presence, . . .” said Kevin Barr, executive vice-president and head of the investment management unit at SEI, in a news release. “Rachel’s breadth of investment experience brings incredible value to SEI as we continue to focus on building awareness in our global markets.”
