Peter Shena, executive vice-president and chief pension officer at the Ontario Pension Board (OPB), has been appointed to the board of the Association for Canadian Pension Management for a three-year term.
He is the only new board member this year.
“Peter’s presence on the board will further bolster OPB’s advocacy efforts on defined benefit plans and ensure that our perspectives on pension sustainability reach a broader audience,” says an OPB statement.
Shena’s career has focused exclusively on pension matters, particularly in all areas of pension policy and administration.
