Sun Life Institutional Investments appoints new president

Sun Life Institutional Investments (Canada) Inc. has added president to Eugene Lundrigan’s role.

In the expanded role as president and senior managing director of business strategy, he’ll be responsible for all aspects of the firm’s business in Canada, including product strategy, distribution, client service and marketing. As well, he’ll continue to oversee product development, marketing, consultant relations and ongoing strategic initiatives in his previously held business strategy role.

Lundrigan joined Sun Life in 1997 as assistance vice-president of investments and has since held a number of roles, including senior managing director of Canadian public fixed income, vice-president of investments for Asia and vice-president of the firm’s international investment centre in Toronto.

As part of this realignment, the firm’s former president Carl Bang is no longer with the organization.
