The Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan has promoted Tracy Abel to senior vice-president, member services, effective immediately.
She is responsible for overseeing the personalized service to Ontario’s 307,000 working and retired members as well as for the division’s actuarial, tax and accounts receivable services; employer information services; and strategic Initiatives teams.
Abel replaces Rosemarie McClean, who was promoted to chief operations officer on Nov. 1.
She has risen through the ranks in the member services team since joining Teachers’ in 1987. Abel most recently held the role of vice-president, client services.
