The Co-operators Life Insurance Co. is partnering with EQ Care to provide the benefits provider’s plan members with virtual health-care services.
“The second wave of COVID-19 is having a major impact on our plan sponsors as they continue to keep their plan members safe while also taking care of their businesses,” said Conor Quinn, vice-president of group benefits at The Co-operators, in a press release. “That’s why it’s more important than ever that patients have peace of mind knowing they have access to primary care services via a secure . . . online platform.”

The virtual services will be available 24 hours per day, seven days per week in both official languages. The partnership allows The Co-operators’ plan members to access EQ Care’s virtual health-care ecosystem, which allows them to navigate the care pathway most appropriate and convenient for them, with a multidisciplinary team of health-care professionals guiding them through the process.
