The Investment Management Corp. of Ontario is joining Ownership Works, a non-profit organization dedicated to implementing broad-based employee ownership programs, as a founding investor partner.

Through partnerships with companies and investors, Ownership Works is aiming to change the corporate culture of ownership by integrating broad-based equity plans that include employee ownership, according to a press release.

“We look forward to working with Ownership Works and the consortium they have brought together to help spread the benefits of employee ownership to more workers and businesses,” said Polina Sims, managing director and head of investment strategy, sustainability and asset management at the IMCO, in the release.
