Russell Investments adds new global head of product

Russell Investments has appointed Robert Hostetter as its new global head of product.

In the role, Hostetter will focus on enhancing the firm’s capabilities throughout asset management, investment outsourcing, implementation and advice offerings, according to a press release.

“At Russell Investments, we have spent decades developing innovative investment solutions to help our clients achieve the outcomes they expect,” said Michelle Seitz, chairman and chief executive officer at Russell, in the release.

“In creating this enhanced global product framework, we’ll be better positioned to take solutions perfected in one region and apply them on behalf of clients in other parts of the world. Bob and the new global product team will work to ensure that we fully leverage our best ideas and insights on a global scale.”

Previously, Hostetter was a partner and senior advisor at Everstrong Capital, a firm that focuses on late-stage infrastructure development opportunities, and managing director and global head of product strategy at Alliance Bernstein. He also worked at William Blair Investment Management where he led the firm’s move into alternatives and multi-asset investment.
