The Toronto Transit Commission Pension Plan is appointing Heather Wolfe as its new chief executive officer, effective March 3, 2025.

She succeeds acting CEO James Clarkson, who stepped into the role last March following the departure of Sean Hewitt as leading executive. Clarkson will return to his role as chief financial officer at the investment organization.

Wolfe has more than 30 years of experience in financial services, pension consulting and pension management. Most recently, she served as senior managing director and head of Canadian business development at SLC Management.

“I am honoured to join the [TTC plan] and help build on its strong foundation of stability and sustainability,” said Wolfe, in a press release. “My focus will be on ensuring the plan continues to deliver stable and secure retirement income, while providing exceptional support and service to members throughout their active years and during retirement.”
