CIBC Asset Management (CIBC AM) appoints Adam Hornung, CFA as Vice President, Global Consultant Relations. Adam will report to Carlo DiLalla, Managing Director and Head of CIBC Institutional Asset Management. Adam joins CIBC AM during a pivotal time as the firm strives to expand its range of tailored investment solutions for the institutional sector.
Adam Hornung acts as an ambassador for CIBC AM, building and maintaining relationships with Canadian and international consulting firms around the world. He is responsible for managing and developing the strategic direction of institutional consultant relationships for fixed income, equities, alternative assets, multi-asset, and currency management solutions.
Prior to joining CIBC AM in 2024, Mr. Hornung was Senior Client Portfolio Manager for SEI Investment’s Canadian institutional clients where he oversaw all facets of their investment programs. Previous to that, he worked at Russell Investments as a senior member of the institutional team as an OCIO Client Portfolio Manager and consultant.
Mr. Hornung holds a BComm from Ryerson University and acquired his MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of Toronto.
