iA Financial Group is proud to announce the appointment of Mr. Sean O’Brien as Executive Vice-President, Group Benefits and Retirement Solutions.
Accumulating over 25 years of experience in building, leading and growing businesses, Mr. O’Brien joined iA Financial Group in 2015; he has held the position of Executive Vice-President, Dealer Services and Special Risks, and most recently, the position of Executive Vice-President, iA Wealth.
In his new role, Mr. O’Brien will be responsible for the execution of the business line’s growth strategy and strategic modernization plan. He will also take over the Special Markets division, which provides creative insurance solutions to match the needs of unique specialized groups as part of iA Financial Group’s vision to consolidate and strengthen its positioning and offering in the group benefits and retirement market.
Mr. O’Brien’s innate business acumen and vast experience make him a renowned leader in Canada’s financial services industry. Involved in his community, Mr. O’Brien serves on the board of the Cancer Research Society.
